Hello, my name is Don Roycraft and I'm a D.A.R.E. Officer in El Paso County. As the Region 3 Rep. I would like to invite all the D.A.R.E. Officers in my region of Colorado to feel free to contact me for any reason. Please use this opportunity for your concerns, comments or to share information. Any information that you would like to share with the state organization or have placed on the website is welcome. Examples of materials that you can send are graduation pictures, student essays or D.A.R.E. events. As you may have heard, the D.A.R.E. Program has been reinstated in El Paso County for 2009-10. We currently have in place a D.A.R.E. Advisory Committee made up of parents, teachers, and business leaders. This committee has raised almost $75,000.00. This kind of fundraising is extraordinary considering the current times. This only goes to show how important D.A.R.E. really is to not only our county and community, but everywhere that it is taught. To all of my fellow officers out there.....Keep up the good work!
